Job Location :

Educational & Other details :
1). Degree in Medicine i.e. MBBS (recognized by the Medical Council of India, included in the first or second schedule or part eleven, of the third schedule (other than the Licentiate qualifications to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956). Holders of educational qualifications in part II of the third schedule should also fulfil the condition stipulated in Section 13 (3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Candidates should have satisfactorily completed the compulsory Rotatory Internship.
a) For Specialists:Degree in medicine i.e., MBBS recognised by the Medical Council of India A Post Graduate Qualification in the relevant subject/ field recognized by the Medical Council of India. 3 years' experience in Clinical work after Post Graduation in the speciality concerned as on the date of interview is desirable.
2). Doctors serving under State/ Central Govt./ Public Sector undertaking etc. may apply with NOC from the respective organizations.
3). Doctors while applying should indicate past service along with experience certificate, if any including the period of contract put in by them on all over Indian Railways.
4). Interview will be on recorded WhatsApp conference call from designated number.
5). Applicants may send their application in standard format on a designated e- mail id along with all the relevant documents.
6). Verification of documents of only selected candidates will be done at the time of joining and in case of doubt the candidates in the waiting list will be called for joining.
7). Since, the posts are over and above the vacancy as per local requirement due to exigencies on temporary measure; no prescribed community distribution (SC/ST/OBC/EWS etc.) is applicable.

Pay Scale :
Rs. 75000/- per month (for Retired Railway Doctors, subject to the condition that the remuneration plus pension shall not exceed the last pay drawn and the all other usual terms and condition shall apply to both)

Age Limit :
For open market CMP: Not exceeding 53 years as on date of notification relaxation for SC ST Ex Servicemen 5 ears and OBC 3 years, For Retired Railway Doctors: Below 65 years of age as on date of notification.

Note :
1. Contract can be terminated by the Railway at any time during the contract period by giving 15 days notice without assigning any reason.
2. Retired Doctors (CMPs) who enter into contract with the Railway will not have any claim or right for his/her continuity in service or automatic extension of the term of contract. Services rendered as full-time contract Doctors will not have any bearing in respect of considering of their period in regular selection through UPSC, nor will it confer any right for regularization or absorption.
3. The vacancy is provisional and may increase or decrease as per administrative necessity. There may be 'wait-listed/ stand-by' candidates against the notified panel/ select list who may be engaged as per necessity.
4. The engagement of contract Medical Practitioner would be on full time contract basis for a period upto 31.03.2022 only from the date of joining.
5. Period of Contract:- The above mentioned engagement is purely a temporary measure up to 31.03.2022 or till the pandemic of Covid-19 continues whichever is earlier.
6. Doctors will be utilized in Quarantine, isolation centres and any other unit depending on the local requirement for handling COVID- 19 pandemic.
7. Daily rate of deduction from the pay, for absence will be made on pro-rata basis.
