Job Location :

Educational & Experience details :
(i). Passed Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) from WBCHSE / its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
(ii). Two years Diploma in Medical Technology in the concerned subject recognized by the State Medical Faculty of West Bengal under West Bengal Para Medical Council / conducted by any recognized institution affiliated to any recognized University OR a Bachelor degree in Medical Technology in the concerned subject from any institution / University recognized by Govt. of West Bengal; OR One year Diploma in Medical Technology in the concerned subject where basic qualification of undergoing the said course is B. Sc. (pure / Bio) by the State Medical Faculty of West Bengal / by any recognized University.

Pay Scale :
Basic Pay – Rs. 28,900/- at entry point at Level 9. Other allowances are admissible as per existing Government Rules.

Candidates must submit the online application fee amounting to Rs. 160/- (Rupees one hundred & sixty) only through Banks participating in the GRPS (Govt. Receipt Portal System), Govt. of West Bengal at Govt.

Age Limit :
Not less than 21 years and not more than 39 years on 01.01.2021. The upper age limit may be relaxed for the candidates belonging to SC, ST, & other Backward Classes as per Government Rules or Orders issued from time to time.

Selection Process :
1). Distribution pattern of marks or the post of Medical Technologist, Grade III :
a) Higher Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent examinations in Science subjects [Physics, Chemistry and Biology] - 25 (Max.)
b) Diploma / Bachelor Degree in Medical Technology in concerned subject - 50 (Max.)
c) Experience as Medical Technologist in State Govt. service (Permanent/Contractual) ‐ 02 marks /year ‐ 10(Max.) [Maximum last 5 years’ tenure of experience will be taken into account]
d) Interview: 15(Max)

3). A candidate should verify from the notified rules that he/she is eligible. The condition prescribed cannot be relaxed. The recruitment will be made by selection, but where a large number of applications are received, as a result of Advertisement, the Board may, for the purpose of short-listing, hold a preliminary examination.

How to apply :
1). Candidates must fulfill the essential qualification at the time of submission of application. No qualification or experience tenure will be considered after the closing date of submission of application.
